Spotlight Sunday featuring Unique Zayas

Why, hello there viewers...Hope your weekend was full of nothing but fun && delight...This ya girl Denisha from NYO Group && I want to welcome you to this week's Spotlight Sunday. I hope that you all had the chance to tune into the jazzy melodies of last week's artist Trevor Wesley...but this week, we're introducing someone who classifies himself as being different from the rest, && his name basically says it all...So for this week's artist spotlight, we will be featuring none other than up-and-coming Def Jam artist:

Unique Zayas

Brooklyn-native, Unique Zayas, is one of the most talented && freshest [if that's even a word lol] new artists emerging into the R&B scene...At the age of 20, Unique has been focused these past few years to put his name on the map by self-promoting && making sure that his talent was expressed to the world...Unique draws his inspiration from known talents like Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder to Usher, Beyonce and Gwen Stefani...This young man has been VERY persistant in making sure he performs at many special events or even at small venues just to make sure he gets the proper exposure, && I must say, his hard work most definately paid off...Unique is now one of the newest faces of Def-Jam && has gotten more opportunity than ANY of us could even imagine...

Since his new record deal, Unique has received the opportunity to open for big artists at major arenas such as Chris Brown, Neyo, Bow Wow, Ciara, && Trey Songz...So from that alone, ya'll should know that this boy aint no joke cuz singers like them arent gonna allow jus ANYONE to open up for them...&& Im sure, in reverse, that Unique will soon have people opening up for him...Lol...In my opinion, Unique has such a pure sounding voice that only makes you want to listen more...&& since he is also a songwriter, his tracks seem to be very relatable, personal && have some sort of relevance to his life...

Not only is Mr. Zayas very in-tune with getting his music career on && poppin...but he's also very much involved in giving back to the community...Unique has created a non profit foundation called “The Unique Movement-In Action!”...which is an initiative that is centered around him and his fans to encourage them to be involved with humanitarian type projects that help give back to their communities and those in need...I dont know about ya'll, but I DEFINATELY find that to be impressive && it jus reminds those how much of a role model this young man has potential to be...In addition, Unique owns his own independant label called Star Power Media, so you go boy! lol

I personally have got the privilege of meeting Unique at a couple of different functions, && I must say that aside from him being able to sing/write && be a humanitatian, he is also a down-to-earth, humble individual...&& that only makes him even more likable...So look out world, because Unique is definately here to take the world by storm!
