Rihanna's Dad Speaks Out About Chris Brown's "Not Guilty" Plea

So as you know [from our update yesterday], Chris Brown took the not guilty plea at his arraignment yesterday&& will be proceeding with the court hearing on April 29th...but what we just recently found out is that Rihanna's father, Robert Fenty, wasnt too pleased about this plea that Chris Brown took...In an interview between Mr. Fenty && US Weekly, Robert was not afraid to express his disagreement with this whole ordeal...

According to the interview, Robert stated:

So what happened? Somebody else did this to Rihanna then? I just would like to see justice go in the right direction. I don’t want his career to be damaged — it’s damaged already. I think he’s a talented guy, but everybody should have to pay. When you do the crime, you do the time. I don’t want to see him locked up for a long time — I just want him to acknowledge and get some help.

Then he continued:

“Who did it — that’s the question now. If he’s not guilty, who did it? He should say ‘guilty’ and let the court be leaning into him and try himself to the mercy of the court, see if he gets a fine…Now he’s going to go beyond that and it could go longer, it can be even worse. It can be worse for him in the long run.”

mMm...looks like papa-RiRi aint to happy with this plea-plea...Lmao [i know that was corny lol]

Rihanna Goes House Hunting

Yesterday the paparazzi spotted Rihanna while she was apparently going house hunting in LA...Word has it that the photos taken this day were of Rihanna looking at a mansion that was once the home of pop-diva Christina Aguilera...

I guess RiRi is looking to move on to bigger && better things...

While we're on the topic of Ms. Rihanna...I guess it would be an appropriate time to update you guys on a couple of things about her...

SooOo IDK if you heard, but certain gossip magazines are reporting that Rihanna and Chris Brown have officially split up...&& as of now, this informations seems like it may be true...

The two havent been spotted together for quite some time now...sOoo I guess only time will tell if these former love birds will get back together...

But on another note...tabloids are also making it seem like Rihanna is completely over the situation...&& even moving on to new relationships...In fact, her possible "new hunny" may be none other than actor Mr. Wilmer Valderamma...

Rumors of a budding romance between battered pop star Rihanna and Lindsay Lohan’s ex, actor Wilmer Valderrama, are gaining steam. Less than a week after Chicago Sun-Times tipsters spotted Rihanna and Wilmer getting acquainted at a Hollywood nightspot, the supposed lovers were reportedly spotted canoodling a second time at the Geisha House in Tinseltown last weekend.

Rumor: Chris Brown May Be Attending College?

Some of you may or may not have heard the rumor circulating the web about Chris Brown deciding to enroll in college...MediaTakeOut stated the other day that Chris Brown was spotted on the Virginia Norfolk State University campus with his mother, during this weekend's Open House...Now, now...OF COURSE the media wants to go around && start saying that Chris is resorting to college so that he has something to fall back on...

When I first heard this, I already was under the assumption that this information is false because Chris loves what he does as an entertainer...so I highly doubt he's gonna give everything up this fast...

TMZ even made a post the other day to confirm that these allegations of Chris going to college were false...so yea...Lol

Lyfe Jennings Fires Matthew Knowles as His Manager

So viewers, in case you didnt know, R&B/soul singer Lyfe Jennings was being managed by none other than Beyonce's father Matthew Knowles for some time now...However, news just recently surfaced the web that this is no longer the case...For reasons not clearly mentioned, Lyfe has decided to fire Matthew Knowles as his manager, && has hired Keyshia Cole's manager Manny Hailey instead...According to Mediatakeout, a "snitch" reported that:

“For the first time [Lyfe] has found a manager that
truly understands him … [Matthew] Knowles’ had “someone else’s' career as a top
priority."

Hmm...guess he hasnt been evenly distributing his time for his artists...Good luck tho Lyfe!

In case you havent heard, Rihanna was spotted in good spirits on Friday in NYC, where she met up with Brandy, Jay Z, && Beyonce for an intimate post-birthday dinner at The Spotted Pig in Manhattan.

Mr. && Mrs. Carter spotted leaving The Spotted Pig on Friday Night.

Rihanna captured leaving the restaurant with fellow singer Brandy.

Chris Erased from "Bone Deep" Movie Ads?

According to Hip-Hop blogsite Woooha.com, R&B singer Chris Brown is getting "erased" from advertisment of his new movie, co-starring rapper/actor TI, "Bone Deep". According to the blogsite:

The crime/action thriller which comes out Jan 8, 2010 was
originally going to heavily market stars T.I. and Chris Brown to the urban demo
but now T.I. will ironically be the main attraction (even though he’s going to
jail) along with broader reaching actors Paul Walker and Hayden Christensen.
Unofficial word has it that Chris will be “erased” from marketing material such
as the movie poster, trailer and TV ads to avoid any controversy. The movie has
already finished filming in Los Angeles so Chris will still be in the movie but
just don’t expect to see much of him in the advertising.

I'm sorry ladies and gentlemen, && feel free to disagree with me if you want to, but I think they're taking this too far...cutting him from advertisement? They're making these decisions n the boy didn't even go to trial yet...Come on now! SMH

Lil' Miss Kim on New Season of Dancing with the Stars

In case you havent heard, 33 year old rapper Lil' Kim will be joining the cast of Season 8's Dancing with the Stars. She will be competing for the dance title alongside Olympic gold-medalist Shawn Johnson, former New York Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor, actress Denise Richards, plus more. Lil' Kim will be partnering up with dancer Dereck Hough.

Check this duo out when the season kicks off on ABC March 9th.

Charles Barkley Pleads Guilty to DUI Charges

According to ESPN:

Charles Barkley pleaded guilty to drunken-driving charges in Scottsdale, Ariz., on
Monday and will serve time in jail, court records show.

The TNT basketball analyst and former All-Star faced two misdemeanor
charges of DUI from a New Year's Eve arrest in Scottsdale. He also pleaded
responsible to a third charge of running a red light, according to KTAR
Radio.

Barkley will serve five days in jail, must enter an alcohol awareness
program and was fined more than $2,000. Under Arizona law, he'll also be forced
to install an ignition interlock device on his vehicles. He starts serving his
sentence March 21.

Barkley, 45, had a blood-alcohol level of .149 percent,
nearly twice the legal limit of .08 percent in Arizona when he was pulled
over.

SMH...well Charles did make a statement that he was sorry for what he did and how it was "unacceptable"...but sadly he has to pay the consequences and spend 5 days in jail for it....Lol
