We've Officially Been Chopped and Screwed by MTV--SMH

Britttany's Comment: On Friday, NYO reported that 3 members participated in an audience discussion of domestic violence and the Chris Brown and Rihanna situation... Now because we like to stay professional a lot of our comments we will refrain from saying but we would like you to know that we have not changed our view on the Chris Brown and Rihanna situation... we still continue to support Chris Brown and we wish the best for Rihanna. On the show some of our comments were completely edited out, while others were edited to the point where the thoughts that we attempted to convey were completely misconstrued. If you would like to know our true feelings on the situation, please visit the previous blogs posted where the situation was discussed. Thank you for visiting the site and rockin with NYO!

So like we mentioned to you all on Friday && as Brittany said, MTV showed a program today entitled "Chris Brown and Rihanna: Love in Trouble", which was supposedly broadcasted to give viewers an inside as to what happened between the two artists and how the public felt about it. Idk how many of you actually saw the program, but we all figured that they were going to edit out all the parts where we attempted to make arguments in Chris' defense. However, we didnt know that they would COMPLETELY leave out all the really good points that a few of the audience members had to say [especially the important comments from NYO's own Denisha && Chakirah lol]. SMH...This just goes to show you how biased MTV is...&& how they were afraid to show the other end of the spectrum. We feel that after seeing the finishing product of the special, it was a complete waste of space on the MTV schedule. Like what was the point of even airing this special if your not only going to NOT show both viewpoints on the matter, but they didnt even show the really good advice that Dr. Michelle Callahan had for people who go through domestic violence. Ugh! This was soOOo stupid.

Below is a clip of the show where they show me, Denisha [even though they clearly edited what I said to format what they envisioned for the show smh], a girl named Melissa [who worked for MTV and was placed there as a filler because there werent enough ppl in the crowd], && a clip of this girl that was there...who did this crying-bit COMPLETELY on cue....SMH this is a mess:
