Hey hey hey! How is everyone doing? Welcome to the NYO Critics Blog Site && starting now, our site is officially in session!! WOOHOO!! lol So as promised, since it's Monday, today we're going to start off by sharing with you each of our "Hotties of the Week":

Denisha's Hottie of the Week: Marcus Patrick. He's a model, actor, singer, and personal trainer. I'm still speculating whether he's gay or not, but child who cares?! Shawty is a tennn!! lol. He's originally from England but now resides in LA, pursuing his career in modeling and acting. Ga'head wit yo fine self Marcus Patrick! I'll holla! lol
Chakirah's Hottie of the Week: Boris Kodjoe. aka "Daddy Kodjoe" lmfao. HooOOoTtt diggety damnnn! Now this sacapoon-sexiness of a man got me tweakin fareal. AND he speaks four different languages??? What more can a girl ask for? lol Hmm, I wonder if he could teach me how to say "I'm available" in French ;)
Bianca's Hottie of the Week: Lee Charm. Lee Charm is an up-and-coming R&B singer from Jersey City,NJ. Looks like Lee Charm has definitely been working in the ab department. Go Lee Charm! I ain't mad atcha ;)
Brittany's Hottie of the Week: Jared. Jared Harrell is one-fifth of the newest R&B group Brutha and from the BET hit-serious "Brother to Brutha". I think he's really hott and I got the chance to meet him and his personality was even hotter!! Expect to see a lot more of Jared and his brothers on here!!

So I'm sure many of you last night were glued to the TV watching the Superbowl XLIII. Well we weren't really [haha], but Congratulations to the Pittsburgh Steelers for their win against the Arizona Cardinals anyway. lol. Last night was definitely a historical night for this team because they are the first NFL team to win 6 Superbowls! Good for them! But what we did catch, was the spectacular performance of the "Star Spangled Banner" by Jennifer Hudson. She's been gone for a minute but DEFINITELY back wit the jumpoff after this one. She just sings soOo effortlessly and doesn't miss a note. [Well maybe this is because mainstream media is saying that last night, her performance was pre-recorded. We don't know, but she still sounded great!]

News is also circulating the web that singer Erykah Badu gave birth to a baby girl yesterday. The new baby is the third child for miss Badu, and first with her boyfriend of three years, rapper, Jay Electronica. CONGRATS TO YOU BOTH!
